Hello! Welcome to my blog, Angie Rambles!

I'm Angie, married to a very supportive husband, Kevin and am a stepmom of two. Kevin and I live in IL but I am originally from Northern Virginia.

I started working from home in June 2001, while still teaching Kindergarten. In September 2001 I left my job to come home and work my business full-time. You can read more about what I do on my Ryze page http://www.ryze.com/go/AngieNewton

Kevin and I are owned by a Blue and Gold Macaw, Bam Bam, Basset Hound, Caleb, Pebbles the cat and Taz our female turtle. Those are our 'babies' and they are a big part of our lives!

The whole reason for this blog is so I can chat to myself and those who want to listen! I set up a business blog but figured I had better 'test' the waters with a personal blog first and once I learn the ropes, I can put focus on the business blog.

Hi ANgie! I saw your blog in the WAHM messge board on blogging! Congratulations on starting a blog! I have been blogging here for a while, but I am still trying to pick up more of the technical aspects (the blabbering on and on about me part, I have down pretty good - LOL!) Was the Feedburner hard to set up? That is my next project. Do you find it difficult to blog regularly? (Not nagging LOL - I don't make it to mine every day!

Anyway, just wanted to say hello and congratulations!)

Blog Trip Day 5: Explore the City

Here we are on the last day of the blog trip. It has been fun getting to know so many of you. Today we are exploring our city. My favorite thing to do, that we do about once a year and I hope to change that is spend the day at Six Flags Great America . I love all the rides and could go on them over and over. Hubby and my stepson are not so much into the spin type rides so I have to ride those alone. Oh well! We went there a few weeks ago and I had a blast. My favorite rides were Vertical Velocity, Superman and Revolution. Do you like amusement parks? If so, please feel free to share your favorites and where they are located. Money Blogger Contest I Would Love to Win

This morning I found a link to a contest over at Money Blogger to win an ipod Nano . I will normally only enter contests that I have to blog about if I like what they have to offer on their blog. And this blog, I do like so far and even signed up for their feed. I found a very helpful post on how to get ideas for new blog posts already so I look forward to digging in a bit more. Welcome Mommy Fest Blog Party People

This is my first year participating in Mommy Fest so I'm pretty excited to see what Marie has up her sleeves. I think it will be great to meet new people through Marie's 1st Mommy Fest blog party .
